Here is a gourmet dessert recipe and well suited to future moms. Pineapple is a source of vitamin C and manganese, as for ginger, it is ideal to relieve nausea in the first trimester!
For 8 people:
- For the dough:
- 250g of flour
- 125 g of butter
- 2 tbsp. tablespoons sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- Dry beans for white cooking
- For garnish :
- 6-8 slices of pineapple (fresh or canned)
- 3-4 pieces of candied ginger
- 100 g pineapple jam
- 4 c. tablespoon of lime juice
- 200 g of cream
- 1 C. vanilla sugar
In a salad bowl, mix the flour, butter cut in pieces, sugar, salt and 5 to 6 tablespoons of cold water. Form the dough into a ball, wrap in food film and set aside for 1 hour. Spread the dough on the floured work surface. Garnish with a buttered pie pan. Cut out a round of parchment paper of the same diameter as the mold, put it on the dough and put a layer of dry beans. Cook in the preheated oven (200 °, heat) 20 to 25 minutes.
Take out, remove the pulses and parchment paper. Arrange the pineapple slices on the pie shell. Cut the pieces of ginger into slices, place it in the interstices formed by the pineapple. Heat the pineapple jam with the lemon juice and spread over the fruits and in the center of the pucks. Cook the pie for about 20 minutes.
Serve warm pie with whipped cream and vanilla sugar.
